Applying to EMS
Our goal is to make your application process as simple and straight forward as possible for you. Listed below you will find information to help walk you through the steps of the application process and suggested timeline.
Once you are ready to apply, you can contact our Admissions Office for an admissions packet or you can find an application online (under "Admissions Documents" in the blue box). On the front of the application there is a detailed checklist to help organize the pieces that need to be completed and returned to the Admissions Office. Once we receive all required paperwork, our Admissions Committee will review your student’s admission file. We try to move the admissions process as quickly as possible and keep you posted along the way. Please do not hesitate to contact Kate Bergey, Admissions Counselor, at

Please use the steps below to guide your application process.
1. Submit an Application for Admission along with a $50 non-refundable application fee (fee waived if application is received before February 15) and other required documents.
2. After all documents are received, our Admissions Committee will review the application. We reserve the right request additional documentation or an interview as needed. You will be notified about your admissions status once the application has been processed.
3. If applicable, submit a financial aid application by March 15, including required tax forms.
4. Upon acceptance, return the General Fee, Enrollment Contract, and Payment Form by May 1 to confirm the student's enrollment.
EMS has a rolling admissions process beginning November 1st. Please note that although there is no formal application deadline, students can only be enrolled so long as space allows.
November 1- February 15 – Early Application Period ($50 application fee waived).
Ocotber 28, January 20 and February 14 – Come for a middle or high Student Visitation Day (advance registration required).
November 11, January 27 and February 17 - Elementary school Open House from 9:30AM-11:30AM (drop-in)
March 1 - Soup & Arts Fest 5PM-8PM (advance registration required).
March 15 – Financial Aid Deadline
April 1 – Financial Award Letter, Enrollment Contract, and Payment Form mailed
May 1 – Student General Fee is billed. The Enrollment Contract and Payment Form must be signed and returned to EMS along with the Student General Fee to secure the student's enrollment for the following academic year.
